O Level E Math Tuition in Singapore

Our O Level E Math (also known as O Level Math) Tuition programme is built to close the gap between knowing a topic and scoring for it in the exam hall. We specialise in breaking down exam techniques and multi-topic application questions, so students move into Sec 3, 4 and 5 with a clear strategy instead of guesswork.

Who This Is For

E Math Tuition for Sec 1 to Sec 5 Students

Whether your child is in Sec 1 Math tuition or Sec 2 Math tuition building foundational algebra and geometry, or already in Sec 3 E Math tuition and Sec 4 E Math tuition preparing for O-Levels, our Sec Sch E Math tuition (Sec School E Math tuition) programme, part of our wider Sec Sch Math tuition offering, adapts to where your child is. We also support Sec 5 E Math tuition for retakes and late starters who need to catch up quickly.

The Challenge

Why Sec 3–5 Students Need Structured E Math Tuition

E Math isn't just a harder version of Sec 1–2 Math. It tests different skills entirely, and the gap between "knowing the topic" and "scoring for it" catches most students off guard.

01 — The Syllabus Jump
  • E Math folds familiar Sec 1–2 topics into denser, multi-step application questions from Sec 3 onward — testing content students recognise, in ways they haven't practised.
  • Without a structured approach, that gap compounds fast.
02 — Technique, Not Memorisation
  • The paper tests reasoning and application (AO2/AO3), not just formula recall.
  • Marks are lost on how a solution is shown as often as on the final answer.
03 — One Weak Topic Snowballs
  • E Math is cumulative: the Paper 2 application question often draws on several topics at once — algebra, geometry and statistics together.
  • A shaky Sec 3 foundation shows up as a Sec 4 prelim problem.
This is why parents and students searching for the best E Math tuition in Singapore look for a programme built around a clear problem-solving system — not just more practice papers.

What Sets Concept First Apart

What Makes Concept First's E Math Tuition Different

Problem-Solving Blueprint

The Mathematical Problem-Solving Blueprint

E Math's application questions often span several topics and parts at once. Most students stall not from lack of knowledge, but from not knowing where to start. Our step-by-step blueprint for common E Math question types gives students a repeatable strategy, not just an answer key.

So that your child never freezes staring at a blank page.
Full Syllabus Coverage

Full Coverage of the O Level E Math Syllabus

Our curriculum is graded from easy to difficult, built to cover the full spread of exam question types — so students walk in having seen the pattern before, not encountering it cold.

No question type comes as a surprise on exam day.
Learning Environment

Safe. Supportive. Inspirational.

Learn in a safe, supportive environment guided by devoted tutors — with WhatsApp support and face-to-face consultations outside class hours. When a multi-part Paper 2 application question doesn't click in class, your child isn't stuck waiting until next week to ask.

No question ever has to wait until the next lesson.
Teaching Tools

Top-of-the-Line Teaching Tools

MacBooks and iPads in a wireless setup free tutors from the front of the room, enabling dynamic, personalised attention instead of one-directional lecturing — useful when a student needs extra working space to break down an application question that spans algebra, geometry and statistics at once.

Teaching adapts to your child, not the other way round.
Tutor Quality

Taught by Subject Specialists

Former MOE teachers and tutors holding double or master's degrees in Engineering, Physics or Math — each focused on one subject for depth over breadth. That grounding matters directly for E Math's mensuration, trigonometry and statistics topics, not just as a general credential.

Your child learns from real depth, not a generalist.
Retention System

Free Monthly Review Classes on E Math Topics

Spaced-repetition review sessions on E Math topics, run monthly and always free for CF students — built for retention, not cramming before exams.

What's learnt in Sec 3 is still solid by Sec 5.
Track Record

Consistently 95%+ A1–B3

Our O-Level students consistently score between A1 and B3 — a track record, not a one-off result.

You can trust the system, not just hope it works.

Concept First students building exam confidence for O Level E Math

Confidence in the Exam Hall

We want every student to walk into the exam hall with certainty, not hope. That certainty is built systematically through structured practice, clear answering frameworks, and repeated exposure to exam conditions — including Paper 2's multi-topic application question — until there is nothing left to be uncertain about on exam day.

Support beyond the classroom — WhatsApp access to E Math tutors

Support Beyond the Classroom

Learning does not stop when the lesson ends. Your child has direct access to teachers via WhatsApp and consultations outside class hours, so a tricky sine rule or probability question doesn't sit unanswered until the next lesson.

Honest Answers by the Concept First Team

Looking for A Math instead? See our O Level A Math Tuition programme →

Our answer Three strands: Number & Algebra, Geometry & Measurement, and Statistics & Probability — plus an extended real-world application question on Paper 2 that draws on more than one topic at once.
Our answer Yes, but the impact is smaller than it sounds. 2026 is the final year the GCE O-Level is awarded. From 2027, the Singapore-Cambridge Secondary Education Certificate (SEC) replaces it under Full Subject-Based Banding — students sit subjects at G1, G2 or G3 level instead of by stream. A G3 Math paper is set to the same standard as today's O-Level E Math paper, so the syllabus and study approach stay the same — only the certificate name changes. Students currently in Sec 4 (2026) sit the last O-Levels; students currently in Sec 3 (2026) are the first SEC cohort.
Our answer This depends on the specific course and changes with each year's JAE/POSB cut-off tables, so we'd point parents to MOE's current admission figures rather than a fixed number — but as a rule, a strong E Math grade is the baseline requirement most JC and Poly courses check first.
Our answer Yes — we run structured Sec Sch E Math tuition for Sec 1, Sec 2, Sec 3, Sec 4 and Sec 5 students, with the curriculum paced to each level's syllabus demands and the O-Level timeline.
